Non-Stop First, Weights Second! Or, Please Don’t Lift Heavy During Your Workout
Lifting heavy can only stop your workout, and only stretches your muscles, and doing what everyone else is doing will have you sitting or laying down.
Non-stop first means that before you start lifting weights at the gym, you should extend your endurance to slowly jog non-stop for one hour.
And then begin by slowly jogging with light dumbbells that don’t stop you, and if they do, continue building up endurance to jog with the dumbbells now.
It is only after you can lift light for 45 minutes or an hour, just about non stop, that you can step into a gym and begin lifting heavier.
The gym exercise is more precise you move from merely carrying dumbbells, to bicep curl, above and sideways lift.
You repeat your standing dumbbell exercises in a sequence, to left muscles rest and restore circulations.
If you are too heavy to jog slowly, you must begin by hiking and camping.
It is a two step process that makes you move and breaks up a bad diet, and will build up your fat and grant you that initial endurance.
Without this hour’s worth of endurance, even if you do start at the beginning of the rack.
You will still fail, because you will lack the jogger endurance.
Jogging non-stop for an hour with light dumbbells, is an on-boarding process.
It will have you start lifting for long enough to make a difference, and thus have your body constantly grow muscle and continue burning fat.
To help your focus, during hiking and camping listen to narrated adventure books, preferably about vicious will animal attacks, creeply hillbillies, and freak accidents.
And when you come to the gym and start lifting, you will need to begin lifting to slow music.
Country is particularly nice, as it usually tells a story, and has a slower tempo than pop music.
Moving to the beats of your songs, one beat up, next beat down, will put you in a dance trance, where time passes much faster.
The truth about moving to music is that it means dancing, twisting an turning your body to turn dumbbells into a full body exercise.
Muscle isolation only works for frail elderly, and injured, people who actually can’t more their entire body.
For a person without disabilities, muscle isolation translates to wasting gym time.
By not dancing with dumbbells to engage all the other muscles, you end up with mobility problems.
Full body musculature helps you get up from a chair without grunting, stand out of a car without needing to pull yourself up.
The benefits of having functional balanced musculature are so precious, that not dancing at a gym with dumbbells in hand, can be called a tragedy.
For those of you who are older, all your body aches and weakness. that you thought were old age, are not…
They are just results of muscle loss, due to bad or no exercise.
By dancing at the gym with light dumbbells, you can bring those muscles back and become a young again.
